Who we are
Make My Ledger is a shop-management app for mobile repair and used-phone businesses in India. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. You can reach us at makemyledgerpro@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your account: email address and password (stored securely, never visible to us). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and nothing else.
- Your shop's records: repair jobs, customers, payments, expenses, stock and the staff you add.
- Used-phone records you choose to keep, such as seller and buyer details and the photos and ID documents you upload.
- Basic technical data such as the browser used and error logs, to keep the app working.
How we use it
We use your data only to run the app for you: showing your records, printing receipts, sending the messages you start yourself and keeping your account secure. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Customer and ID data
You decide what you record about your own customers. Photos and ID documents are kept in private storage that only the owner and managers of your shop can open. You are responsible for having the right to record this information and for keeping it as the law in India requires.
Who can see your data
Only the people you invite to your shop, according to the role you give them. Our service providers (hosting and database) process data on our behalf to run the app. We share data with others only if the law requires it.
Your choices
- You can export your lists to a spreadsheet at any time.
- You can ask us to correct or delete your account and shop data by emailing us from your registered address.
- You can remove any photo or document you uploaded from the phone's page.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections and access is limited by role. No online service is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and remove staff who leave.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
